I enjoyed another very enjoyable run across the hills of West Allendale at the Whitfield Village Fair Fell Race. Early morning sunshine brought out seven runners for the Whitfield Village Fair Fell Race. This year’s route of 4.7 miles & 650ft involved less running on roads than in previous years and included some nice woodland sections. James Carradice won the race followed by Phil Johnston in second place and Jim Clapp (DFR) in 3rd place.  Barbara Ingman (NSP) & Laura Owens jointly won the prize for first lady. Thanks to the race organiser Katherine Halliday and her army of helpers and marshals for putting on another great race.
