“We are amazed and delighted to let you know that Anna-Marie, our daughter, recently finished second female and 47th overall in this epic endurance event.
There are five stages, with the first three of about 35 km, a monster stage of 92km, and finally a marathon of 42 km. She was second finisher in the long stage and marathon, and second overall.
She blames her success upon her genes and upbringing – she spent many weekends in the Lakes when I was running in fell races.
I think we are the only family that has had three finishers in the Jura Fell Race.“
