Will & Steve's 2nd head-torch run of the season was on Tuesday
27th October. Fourteen runners and two dogs came along from as far
as Darlington, Weardale, and Whitley Bay. Many were fooled into wearing
too much gear as once running it soon became apparent just how warm
it was. Despite the darkness the running was fast on mainly grassy
wide open tracks. There was only one wrong turn and one lost dog (located
again after 5 minutes, and yes, it was Casper). Total distance about
6 miles in about 80 minutes with plenty of little hills that kept things
interesting. Afterwards eight runners headed to the Causey Arch Inn
for a well deserved pint.
Next run on Thursday 26th November from Chester Moor near Durham. Details
to follow.
