Fine weather and good conditions underfoot made for fast times all round at the 2011 Brough Law fell race. Phil Sanderson continued his good form and shaved another 30 seconds off the course record to win by a big margin for a short race. It was great to see so many female runners out there, ranging in age from 17 to 60, with NFR managing to field seven including a few non-veterans. However it was veteran NFR lady Karen Robertson who won the ladies race but she was pushed by 25-yr old Becki Law (Eryri) less than a minute behind. Over £300 was raised to be split between Air Ambulance and the two local MR teams. Thanks again to all my helpers, especially the ever-willing Casper, and Adam and Kayden who did a great job handing out cream eggs to all finishers.
