Dry conditions underfoot were tempered by a headwind throughout (the vagaries of running from A to B) and of course, the final ascent up the ever unforgiving Trahenna Hill. However, when the finish is a brewery inner strength is never far away."

Dave Armstrong led NFR home in 2 hrs 9, with Karen Robertson recording an excellent 2 hrs 14 in her race debut. John Telfer and Phil Green adopted the corinithian spirit of hill running and crossed the line together in around 2 hrs 40" - John Telfer. |

Not sure of margin of victory but it was about 10 mins. Very enjoyable route which involved many undulations despite circumnavigating a lake.
